AIMS
The objects for which the SCS is established are:
- To advance Chemistry as a science and as a professional in the entire country:
- To promote and stimulate the advancement of chemistry and related sciences by means of organized discussions, conferences, seminars, workshops and publications.
- To provide for the delivery of lectures, and the holding of demonstrations, classes and conferences calculated to advance the cause of chemistry.
- To subscribe to, support or co-operate with any other society or institute whether incorporated or not the objects of which are similar to those of the Society.
- To promote the professional integrity, status, efficiency, and public usefulness of chemists.
- To partner with other national and international professional bodies engaged in the various disciplines related to Chemistry
